Mission
Advancing aeronautical engineering through student collaboration.
We exist to inspire, connect, and empower future engineers and astronauts at Purdue Northwest. The chapter does that in three ways:
- 01
Inspire
Compete at NASA Student Launch. Design, build, and fly high-powered rockets on a national stage.
See the work - 02
Connect
Work in student-led teams with mentors, advisors, and partners across campus and industry.
See the work - 03
Empower
Learn rocketry by doing it: propulsion, CAD, structures, and flight dynamics on real hardware.

NASA Student Launch Initiative
A prestigious annual competition where student teams design, build, and launch high-powered rockets. We develop innovative propulsion systems, aerodynamic designs, and advanced payload technologies to compete at the national level.

Advanced Rocketry & Propulsion
Hands-on experience in rocket design, propulsion systems, and structural analysis. Members develop skills in CAD modeling, materials science, flight dynamics, and engineering best practices essential in aerospace.

Student-Driven Innovation & Leadership
Student engineers lead every aspect of the project—from technical teams to budgets and industry partnerships. This real-world experience in project management and aerospace engineering prepares members for careers in space exploration and aviation.
